Twelfth (or Thirteenth) Night

Tired out by the season of non-stop partying and overeating,Tigger is here to remind you all that it was Twelfth Night on Sunday, and all of your Christmas decorations should have been taken down last night (Or even the day before, if that's the way you count. See the discussion on Wikipedia.) Of course, it's Fourteenth Night in Australia by now. Hello folks and Happy New Year.

And hell from the land down under. Glad to see the lurgy didn't carry you off! :)

We're also suffering in our own small way... especially from a surfeit of food... more specifically baked ham!

I honestly don't think I've eaten so much ham in my life. We've already eaten two large hams (approx. 14 kilos total) and yesterday I bought yet another. This one is 10 kilos and cost $50... around £20 maybe? I'll get it in the oven later on and then see what sort of impression we make on it later today!!

We took our deccos down last Saturday... I needed the wife to organise me and it was her last weekend away from work.

By the way, just a reminder, so far no pictures of your Xmas spread have appeared on the blog... we're waiting! :)
