I was in the Traid shop in Holloway Road when I found this…
I get the feeling that Welsh Dog already has a copy, but if you don’t, you can find it on Amazon here.
It has somewhat mixed reviews…

The prose is uninspired, and lend the book a pompous and smug air, not unlike that Jamiroquai Rowling what writes kids books except treats the kids like idiots incapable of keeping a single thoughts in their head. Except this is worse; the witless and insipid text positively inspires vomiting (projectile) from every reader, sucking out the very essence of what makes a good read and replacing your heart with a heavy grey twilight. ROFL.... the book came out at the time there was another book coming out about schoolyard life and they decided to have a go at the dictionary. The publisher went ballistic but Amazon wouldn't take the comment down.
Made no difference... I think the printed version was crap as well.
They edited it to death taking out all the funny comments and the weird stuff readers had sent it.
If I'd realised what they were going to do I'd have used someone else's name something obscure... like....??? :D

Didn't know me at all... just wanted to be bitchy and promote their own book:)
I thought it was all very funny though I suspect if I'd been anywhere serious about the book I might have been upset.
Seriously I think they had valid points to make. The editors totally misunderstood the point of the site, as it was then, and tried to turn it into something else... failing spectacularly :)
I'm not even sure it's still in print!
