I was trying to finish my book yesterday, stretched out in the garden in one of the rare dry spells of the last two months.
Then I became aware....
I was not alone...

Love it. that cat is a real character. Is it yours or really a 'borrowed' one??
I must have missed a few episodes of the blog if you've explained where it came from.
"It" is actually two cats, Bernard,(the one who was on my legs), and Tigger, the one on my back in these photos.
They are actually "owned" by somebody who lives 5 doors down the road. But he is out a lot, and they, in the affectionate words of another neighbour, are "Floozies and Whores"
We don't worry who owns them. We know they really own us!
Hello phantom.
Thank you for your wonderful comment on my blog. And you have mine saved as a fav gardening blog - praise indeed! I like this picture of your terrace; the ordered lineup of the garden chairs makes me wonder if you are virgo. I'd really only know for sure if you posted a picture of washing hung out on the line to dry... foolproof method to determine the presence of a virgo in the neighbourhood!

Amalee- Many thanks for your kind words.
I have to give the credit for our garden to my wife, I will make sure she reads your comment!
As for the washing, well, we are one of the few houses around here to prefer the line to a tumble dryer. I spend quite a while trying not to take pictures of our drying.
No Virgos though, I'm a Saggitarius, my wife Aquarius>:-)
